Job summary

Producers Peanut Company Incorporat is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to lead all food-safety and quality-assurance programs at the facility. You will oversee the FSMS, third-party certifications (SQF, Kosher, Halal), regulatory documentation, internal audits, and team supervision, acting as the SQF Practitioner and regulatory representative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's primary food-safety and regulatory representative during recalls, inspections, third-party audits, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure full FSMA, FDA, USDA compliance with customer specs and third-party standards (SQF/Halal).
• Act as SQF Practitioner; chair annual SQF Management Review and issue monthly status reports to senior leadership.
• Oversee the integrated Food‑Safety & Quality Management System (HACCP, PCQI, SQF Food Quality Plan, sanitation, allergen, pest control, calibration, document-control).
• Develop and annually test FDA-mandated Food-Defense Plan; function as Food-Defense Qualified Individual and trainer.
• Lead Crisis-Management/Business-Continuity Plan and conduct annual simulation.
• Reanalyze Food‑Safety Plan per regulatory changes and document revisions.
• Lead validation/verification of preventive controls; retain evidence of effectiveness.
• Validate sanitation via ATP/protein swabs, microbial testing, visual inspection, and chemical records.
• Oversee water, air, chemical controls verification; inspections for glass/brittle-plastic/wood.
