Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to help safeguard the safety, quality, and compliance of our food products across production. You will perform inspections, tests, and audits, and document results to uphold GMP and HACCP standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, familiarity with food safety regulations, strong attention to detail, and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training or certification in food production/manufacturing is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality.
• Maintain thorough records of inspection and testing activities, including results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor critical control points and production parameters; collaborate to implement corrective actions.
• Verify sanitation standards and GMP compliance; report sanitation issues to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in HACCP plan maintenance and meetings and identify potential hazards and control measures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality-related projects.
• Provide training on quality standards to production personnel and foster a culture of quality and compliance.
• Work overtime and non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
