Job summary

Lyons Magnus, LLC is seeking Quality Assurance Technicians for Day and Mid/Night shifts at its Walton, KY facility. The QA team ensures products meet safe handling and quality standards, partnering with Operations to uphold defined quality parameters and escalate issues promptly.

The position requires a High School Diploma with 1–3 years in a lab, familiarity with GMPs, MS Office tools, and strong documentation and communication skills. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 1-3 years in a laboratory environment, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Level 1 QA will assist in problem solving to determine root cause and preventive actions.
• Maintain knowledge of 100% of laboratory procedures and support 100% of Quality Control checks.
• Train QA Lab, Line and dept. personnel on policies and procedures.
• Perform sensory evaluation on samples and document results.
• Ensure proper collection and shipment of customer samples with complete documentation.
