Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, located in Long Prairie, Minnesota, is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to support our beef processing operations. You will calibrate equipment, collect samples, and prepare daily QA paperwork to ensure product quality meets specifications.

You will inspect lines and finished products, tag items for hold or rejection, and record inspection data. Training will be provided to strengthen core QA skills and compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and SQF standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–3 years QA experience.
• Must communicate in English (read/speak/write) with government personnel.
• Must be able to work varied shifts and overtime as production needs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment and collect samples for testing.
• Prepare and process daily paperwork in an organized manner.
• Perform visual line and finished product inspections for conformance to specs.
• Tag and hold or reject products/equipment to gather data and analyze results.
• Interpret test results, compare to specs, and document corrective actions.
