Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Minnesota. You will calibrate equipment, collect samples, and manage daily QA paperwork while inspecting lines and finished products for conformance with specifications.

You will interpret results, take corrective actions, and train lower-level staff on QA standards. Work includes pre-operational checks and adherence to HACCP, GMPs and SQF programs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and around moving equipment with PPE.
• High school diploma or GED.
• English communication skills (read, write, speak) for government and SOPs.
• 1-3 years QA experience.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment and collect samples for testing.
• Prepare and process daily paperwork accurately.
• Perform visual inspections of lines and finished products.
• Tag and hold/reject products or materials as required.
• Interpret test results and take corrective actions.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of production areas.
• Provide guidance and training on QA processes.
• Perform Critical Control Point tasks and observe sanitary dressing procedures.
