Job summary

The Ziegenfelder Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Floater to support ongoing production at the Wheeling facility. You will ensure finished treats meet quality standards, document results, and participate in sanitation and HACCP compliance.

The role requires 1+ year in food manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Training in SQF/HACCP is preferred; on-site work with cold temperatures and noise is expected.

Qualifications

• One plus years within a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience with HACCP, SQF, SSOP & GMP and QA process improvements.
• SQF certification preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw material inputs and monitor production processes.
• Inspect finished products to ensure color, taste, quantity and wrap quality.
• Review QA processes and document improvements and findings.
• Perform batch records documentation and data entry in the control system.
• Assist with sanitation, environmental sampling and basic lab tasks.
