Job summary

Summer Garden Food Manufacturing is seeking a proactive Floater to operate machinery safely and support the daily Master Production Schedule. You will follow GMP and SQF procedures to maintain quality and safety throughout production.

The role requires flexibility to cover multiple positions, strong English literacy, and the ability to lift and maneuver materials as needed in a hot/humid or cold environment. Join a family-owned team committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read and write English fluently.
• Frequent lifting up to 80 pounds and pushing/pulling 500–600 pounds.
• Able to work in hot/humid or cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely and properly changeover and operate equipment in the immediate work area.
• Properly clean and sanitize the immediate work area.
• Fill in for each and every work position when needed.
• Perform operator level adjustments and preventative maintenance on equipment in the area.
• Complete paperwork and touch screen entries accurately.
• Support training of temporary workers and build a team environment.
