Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in New York—Islip area is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure our products meet safety, consistency, and regulatory standards on the production floor. You will review documentation, perform inspections, and guide teams with quality best practices to deliver products customers trust.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing or QA, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred.
• Proficiency with basic software tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process testing and AQL inspections.
• Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing.
• Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy.
• Approve pre-startup activities and equipment checks.
• Release batch records and work orders.
• Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance.
• Support GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance.
• Participate in shift review meetings.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
