Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in quality or pest management within a food manufacturing, lab or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and treat three primary types of pest contamination: insect, bird, and rodent.
• Sample and test incoming ingredients including physical testing, EB testing, environmental sampling.
• Audit and maintain sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Comply with safety regulations including respiratory protection, protective clothing, and medical testing.
• Comply with MSDS, applicator certification, documentation logs, and labels.
• Assist Product Safety Team Leader in heat treatment, warehouse fogging, and rail car/truck fumigation and aeration.
• Reorder and inventory stock of sanitation and pest control materials.
• Perform pheromone monitoring, installation, investigation and appropriate actions with accurate records.
• Conduct weed control of surrounding property.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical traps and rodent bait stations.
