Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a QA/Quality Assurance associate to inspect products for weight, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity, ensuring compliance with safety policies. You will support ERP updates, coordinate with QA/Marketing during plant trials, and help maintain traceability across production lines.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and flexibility in a manufacturing setting. Strong math and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred in quality assurance in a food production environment.
• Familiarity with FDA requirements related to food safety a plus.
• Must possess excellent record keeping, math, filing and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and testing of packaged products for weight, packaging integrity, product identification and cut size if applicable.
• Performs inspections on finished products for package seal integrity, correct labeling, UPC codes/Lot codes, product integrity and piece count.
• Finished product testing completed as required.
• Releases lots for shipping or places holds if inspection results are unacceptable.
