Diversified Foods and Seasonings (a division of Al Copeland Investments) is hiring a Temp Quality Assurance Technician in Madisonville, LA. You’ll safeguard product quality with routine inspections and on-site tests in a fast-paced production environment.

The shift runs 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. You must pass a drug screen and be able to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct on-site tests, such as pH, temperature, and texture, to verify quality during various production stages.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of quality checks, test results, and any deviations from standards
• Maintain clear, effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ensure that the workspace is always clean and meets GMP, HACCP, and SSOP standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to smooth, efficient production.
