Job summary

AptarGroup, Inc. in Auburn, AL is seeking a Food Protection Quality Technician to support incoming, in-process and finished product inspections.

You will work under the Food Protection team to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, driving quality improvements at the plant level. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and a preference for candidates with Quality Assurance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Computer Skills required.
• Experience in Quality Assurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection on trays and other Food Protection products or materials during incoming, in-process or finished product stages.
• Notify Food Protection Operator of any quality issue that needs to be addressed.
• Initiate quarantine process for non-conforming product.
• Complete paperwork documenting inspections and provide issue reports to Food Protection Process Engineer and Food Protection Quality Engineer.
• Follow and enforce cGMP across Food Protection operations to assure proper and safe product manufacturing, packing and handling.
• Verify calibration status of all equipment and instruments used for measuring product quality characteristics or requirements.
• Perform any other tasks as requested to support production productivity and housekeeping.

WHAT'S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open in North America: Food Protection Quality Technician reporting to the Quality Engineer III, Food Protection. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY:
