Job summary

AptarGroup, Inc. in Auburn, AL, is hiring for a Molding Maintenance role focused on safe, reliable operation of injection molds and molding equipment.

This position requires adherence to safety priorities and working with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness. The role involves cleaning and maintaining molds, performing repairs, troubleshooting diverse systems, and supporting plant safety programs on 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing technical environment.
• Ability to read and work from manuals and drawings.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and reach for 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and rotating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled cleaning and maintenance on injection molds and molding machines.
• Perform work order repairs, inspections, reports and adjustments on production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems using manuals and prints.
• Identify parts and materials needed for repairs.
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs of worn or defective parts.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely as needed.
• Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Communicate positively with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

WHAT'S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open in North America: Molding Maintenance reporting to the Plant Engineer/ Maintenance Manager. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Technical training is a plus.
