Job summary

Growing Gardens in Boulder and Longmont seeks a Food Project Farm Coordinator to support the Farms team and lead the Cultiva Youth Project and volunteer programs on the Longmont farm. This role blends farming with community work, requiring at least 1 year (or 2 seasons) of farming experience and residency in or near Longmont, Colorado.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year farming experience or 2 farming seasons.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate greenhouse work, crop and soil stewardship, harvest and packing, irrigation and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate seeds and seedling donation program in spring.
• Plan weekly harvests and produce packing for program goals.
• Coordinate and mentor volunteers and educational experiences on the farm.
• Lead Cultiva teen program on the Longmont farm.
• Represent Growing Gardens at on-farm programs and public events.
