Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a dedicated Food Program Compliance Monitor to oversee CACFP/SFSP operations across multiple sites in Delaware. The role ensures documentation is maintained per USDA/DE Education standards and coordinates with the Food Program team.

The position includes on-site observations, training, and collaboration with staff to manage meal orders, eligibility, and program costs, with regular travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to adjust to and manage change effectively.
• Ability to be flexible in scheduling of work-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with site food program staff to determine food program needs.
• Conduct on-site meal service observations, both scheduled and unscheduled.
• Schedule collection of all food program documentation.
• Coordinate electronic filing of all food program-related documentation.
• Conduct two annual food program site trainings and document attendance.
• Work closely with sites requiring eligibility documentation to ensure compliance.
• Report any changes in site meal orders to Asst. Dir. Food Program.
• Relay any site-based food program service or food quality issues to Food Program Director.
• Work closely with Food Program Assistant Director and Kitchen Manager to support tracking and documentation of all food program costs and reimbursements.
