Job summary

TEMPO Employment Services is hiring a Production Worker for a well-established food manufacturing facility in Mars Hill, ME. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with FT/Days 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or FT/Nights 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Starting pay is $17.85/hr + $2.00 shift differential.

Training is provided, and a comprehensive benefits package is available after the temp-to-hire period. The role involves operating equipment, loading materials, packaging, sorting products, and maintaining a clean, safe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for long periods of time.
• Prior experience in a food production setting is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate, and disassemble equipment used for production.
• Load and unload raw materials and/or finished products.
• Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning and meets quality/safety standards.
• Remove and dispose of waste from the production process.
• Package finished goods and sort materials for storage and shipment.
• Keep work areas clean and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow workplace safety policies and report hazards.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.
