Job summary

TEMPO Employment Services is hiring a Production Worker for a well-established food manufacturing facility in Mars Hill, ME. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with FT/Days 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or FT/Nights 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Starting pay is $17.85/hr + $2.00 shift differential.

• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate, and disassemble equipment used for production.
• Load and unload raw materials and/or finished products.
• Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning and meets quality/safety standards.
• Remove and dispose of waste from the production process.
• Package finished goods and sort materials for storage and shipment.
• Keep work areas clean and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow workplace safety policies and report hazards.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.

The Production Worker is responsible for setting up, sanitizing, and operating food production equipment while supporting daily manufacturing operations. Duties include loading and unloading materials, packaging and sorting finished products, removing waste, and maintaining a clean work area. Employees are expected to follow instructions and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure product quality and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, operate, and disassemble equipment used for production purposes.
