Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Production Tech to use the daily production schedule to determine products to process and to follow all food safety and GMP guidelines. The role requires lifting and handling ingredients, packaging, and equipment in a food-grade oil production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Familiar with GMP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Learn to start up and check equipment for preventive maintenance and proper setup.
• Perform quality checks on packaging, weights, codes, and case inspections.
• Read daily production schedule and identify product-specific requirements.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality policies, and FSMA preventive controls.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and coordinate with relief staff.
• Maintain daily production efficiency and sanitation duties.
