Tanner Health is seeking a food preparation assistant responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking support, and maintaining sanitation to ensure quality meals. The role requires attention to recipes, temperatures, and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include portioning, washing produce, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring leftovers are labeled and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: No prior work experience required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping and storing.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards and food production checklist.
• Prepare cold foods.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Tests food to determine if it has been cooked sufficiently.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• Assist with labeling and storing leftovers and maintain sanitation.
