Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in institutional foodservice preferred.
• Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Attend mandatory hospital in-services.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper meat thawing procedures and prepare frozen items.
• Prepare, wash, trim, cook and season food according to recipes.
• Prepare food according to standardized recipes.
• Label and date food products and supplies.
• Assist in checking in supplies and store them properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the production area.
• Work as a team member to support kitchen duties.
