Job summary

Lee Kum Kee USA in Southern California seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the production function, coordinating with Engineering, Warehouse, and QC teams. You will lead multiple teams (Processing, Filling, CIP, Sanitation) to meet schedules while upholding GMP, HACCP, and OSHA safety standards.

The role requires a minimum Associate’s degree with 3+ years in a food manufacturing supervisory role, plus lean/six-sigma experience and strong leadership, communication,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required; BS/BA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and driving continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated, results oriented with strong leadership.
• Good communication and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and use MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in supervising the operation of the Production Function.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Warehouse, QC during daily operation.
• Lead multiple teams (Processing, Filling, CIP, Sanitation) to meet schedule.
• Monitor daily operations to fulfill production and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure GMP/HACCP/OSHA safety standards and procedures are followed.
• Provide GMP trainings and manage attendance, reports and records.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to hit KPI targets.
• Operate HMI or other processing control systems as needed.
• Provide backup support to the department manager when absent.
