Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

Location: Eastern Market, Detroit, Michigan

Pay: $75,000 – $85,000 annually

Signing Bonus: $2,000

We’re hiring a hands‑on, experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our high‑volume food manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in supervising production teams who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment and enjoys being active on the plant floor.

We have two positions available:

• First Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Rotational Shift | This position flexes with our seasonal business. Expect to work second shift (4:00 PM – 2:00 AM) during our build season (Sept. – March) and first shift during our growth season (March – Sept.).

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of 20+ employees in a dynamic, high‑volume production environment
• Communicate goals clearly and keep the team focused on safety, quality, and productivity
• Coach, train, and develop your team—building accountability, consistency, and engagement
• Identify production challenges and implement smart, practical solutions in real time
• Ensure all products meet quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory guidelines
• Promote a safe, respectful workplace and ensure compliance with company policies
• Maintain accurate production records and collaborate with other departments to keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting (required)
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on motivating, guiding, and developing a team
• Experience working with safety, quality, and compliance systems in food manufacturing
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices is a plus
• A proactive, reliable leader who prefers to be present and engaged on the production floor
• Effective communicator and collaborator who can work cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Human Resources
