Job summary

Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member for our Central Kitchen. You will assist in recipe preparation, cooking, packaging and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll learn across areas of the Central Kitchen and can be cross-trained in other departments. Most shifts end by 10pm, with weekly pay, and opportunities for training and growth as you contribute to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Open availability to work varied shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment used in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to train across recipe prep, cooking, packaging, sanitation and shipping/receiving.
• Food safety knowledge is a plus.
• Flexible to take on tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recipe preparation, cooking, packaging, sanitation and shipping/receiving.
• Follow recipes and production goals in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all work zones.
