Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Operator in Minneapolis, MN, to proficiently operate and monitor production equipment including cartoners, labelers, wrappers, and packaging lines. The role supports end-of-line packaging, pallet handling, and ensures GMP and SOP compliance while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

The position runs on a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 am–6:30 pm) with possible overtime on Fridays. It is a contract-to-hire onsite role with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating and monitoring production equipment.
• Mechanically inclined with good math skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing and general production.
• Familiarity with hand tools and packaging machines.
• Knowledge of GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment efficiently.
• Assist with end-of-line packaging and pallet handling.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and company SOPs.
• Detect and address defects or machine malfunctions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow good documentation practices and understand batch records.
• Set up, tear down, and load correct formulas.
• Check weight limits and document output and downtime.
• Complete batch records and log books accurately.
• Label and palletize pressed products.
