Job summary

Aerotek in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Production Machine Operator to support GMP food/pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will operate and monitor one or two pieces of equipment such as cartoners, labelers, wrappers, pouching, and related packaging lines while contributing to quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

This is a contract-to-hire role on 1st or 2nd shift (Mon–Thu) with a 6:00 am–4:30 pm or 4:20 pm–2:50 am schedule and occasional overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• GMP environment experience preferred.
• Ability to operate, monitor and maintain production equipment.
• Familiarity with batch records and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain one or two production machines (cartoners, labelers, wrappers, pouching, stick machines).
• Assist with end-of-line packaging and palletization of finished products.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and SOPs and document production output accurately.
• Identify defects or equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S-compliant work area and read batch records.
• Set up and teardown equipment and verify correct formulas/materials.
• Check weight limits and document downtime and production records.
• Label and palletize products per procedures and support continuous improvement.
