Golden Boy Foods, a member of the 8th Avenue Food and Provisions Family, is hiring an Operator II in Fitzgerald, GA. The role focuses on safe operation, sanitation, and quality checks on production lines for private label peanut butter products.

Duties include setup, equipment adjustments, and coordinating with other departments to meet line needs. Must read/write, perform basic math, and work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of reading and writing.
• Must be capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must have the ability to complete simple oral and written communication.
• Must be able to work shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.

Responsabilités

• Perform safety and sanitation checks prior to startup.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment for sanitation purposes.
• Set up and adjust equipment for production runs.
• Adjust equipment based on line speed to meet specifications and check product quality.
• Perform quality checks on the production line as assigned.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
• Maintain and rotate inventory using FIFO principles.
• Record production and quality data; compile required reports.
• Assist with changeovers and adjustments on machines within area.
• Read and interpret packaging specs, schedules, and customer requirements.
