Job summary

Cacique Foods, LLC. is seeking an Operator II to operate, monitor, and maintain food production equipment in a safe, quality-driven environment. You will support efficient conversion of raw ingredients into finished products while adhering to GMP, HACCP, and PPE protocols.

You will perform start-up/shutdown, adjust settings, inspect quality, and help train staff, with emphasis on data recording and continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures; report malfunctions or defects.
• Adjust machine settings (temperature, speed, ingredient flow) as needed.
• Operate machinery per SOPs and inspect product quality.
• Maintain sanitation and GMP/HACCP compliance; use PPE as required.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
• Assist in training operators and temporary staff per SOPs.
• Record production data, quantities, lot numbers, and deviations.
• Participate in sanitation and cleaning of equipment and areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
