Job summary

Meijer is seeking a production operator to safely operate food manufacturing equipment, ensure formulas and weights are accurate, and complete necessary paperwork. You will help meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to GMPs and safety procedures. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred and a flexible/off-shift schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing English to an 8th grade level required.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Willing to work a flexible/off shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate specific food manufacturing equipment in a designated area.
• Meet daily production goals and requirements.
• Ensure product quality and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Verify weights and formulas for accuracy.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow GMPs, CCPs, and QCPs at all times.
• Report food safety or maintenance concerns to team leaders immediately.
• Train and instruct others on proper equipment operation.
• Adhere to safe work practices and rules.
