Job summary

KeHE Distributors in Parker, CO is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator / Food Production Packaging team member to support set-up, operation and maintenance of high-speed packaging lines.

You will follow start-up procedures, verify weights and labels, monitor product quality, assist with palletizing and waste control, and work with a team to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role offers benefits after 30 days, paid time off and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires Mid Rise Safety Toe work shoes/boots on day one
• Ability to lift products of various weights ranging from 10lbs to 60lbs
• Basic math skills to maintain proper work inventory
• Read, write and understand the English language
• Work on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
• Hand eye coordination to perform a verity of fast-pace tasks
• Self-motivated and able to stay on task
• High attention to detail
• Basic Abilities to operate assigned machinery

Responsibilities

• Start Up/Change of product: Ensure high speed packaging machine is correctly assembled and ready to operate at peak performance
• Product Run/ Quality Inspection: Maintain highest quality during production runs and verify labels/weights
• Maintain and log product run sheets; conduct hourly metal detector checks
• Assist Boxers with palletizing and replenishing supplies
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues during production runs
