Job summary

You will set up machines, perform pre-op checks, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure correct packaging and traceability per the daily schedule.

This role requires 1-2 years in a production/w warehouse environment, good verbal and written communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in Warehouse or Production environment.
• Food industry experience is an asset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-op checks and set up machines for daily production.
• Conduct minor troubleshooting to keep machines running.
• Promptly report major issues observed with the machinery.
• Ensure correct packaging and traceability coding are used and follow Daily Production Schedule.
• Handle machines with care and keep them running efficiently.
• Perform general housekeeping in the work area at shift end.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Coordinator.
