Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a dependable cleaner to support production facilities in Hooper. The role involves daily cleaning in production/warehouse areas and adjacent spaces, plus maintaining cleanliness of food packing equipment.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of commercial cleaning experience, good attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime, including some evenings and weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years commercial cleaning experience in warehouse/food production environments.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Willing to work overtime including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties in production/warehouse areas and outside common areas.
• Clean food packing equipment using approved chemicals.
• Empty interior and exterior garbage and recycling bins as needed.
• Sweep production/warehouse floors (potatoes, packaging material, wood, etc.).
• Dispose of garbage/cardboard placed in front of the compactor area.
• Inspect outside of facilities twice daily and sweep/pick up debris.
• Correct any deviations identified by the Food Safety/Quality Technician.
