Job summary

Responsibilities include line setup, process monitoring, equipment operation, and strict adherence to GMP and safety policies. Fast-paced, physical work with reporting to supervisors and QA will be expected.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in food or other manufacturing.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for 10 hours on hard surfaces.
• Able to work in a dusty, wet environment and in temperatures from ambient to air-conditioned.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record raw material lot numbers.
• Perform line equipment set-up for desired production.
• Ensure proper fill weight on autofill lines.
• Perform process monitoring (metal detector, weigh checks, code dates, barcode checks).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Conduct daily sanitation and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Work independently to meet deadlines.
• Report food safety issues promptly to Supervisor or QA personnel.
