Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is hiring for a production-focused role on our deli/food assembly lines. You will move ingredients, assemble sandwiches and platters, and help staff on the line while maintaining GMPs and safety.

This position emphasizes teamwork and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Key requirements include the ability to lift 35+ pounds, work any shift, weekends and holidays, and demonstrate reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to push or pull heavy equipment occasionally.
• Must demonstrate GMPs and safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 35 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good human relations skills and be a team player.
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Moving ingredients and assembling sandwiches, sub kits, platters and chef to go meals.
• Cutting and preparing vegetables.
• Loading and unloading racks, ovens and other equipment.
• Placing containers on conveyor belt at line speed.
• Rotating in all positions and assisting with other duties as assigned.
