Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a production associate to support the salad production line and daily operations. You will count, pack, and stage products, perform quality inspections, and help keep areas clean and organized on a fast-paced line.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift heavy weights, learn quickly, and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. A strong commitment to GMPs and attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate GMPs and safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds repetitively, 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must push/pull full tubs up to 750 lbs.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment; nights/weekends/holidays.
• Must have good attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Document correct case counts on lot cards and daily pack sheet.
• Stack product on production line.
• Scrape product tubs into Lieder Hopper.
• Perform quality inspections of finished product.
• Maintain cleanliness of salad production areas.
• Assist operators in daily production: load cups/lids, move and hoist tubs, changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.
