Western States Lodging & Management is seeking a Food Production Worker to organize and execute diverse menu items, ensuring quality and efficiency for each service period.

You will monitor production, coordinate priorities, and troubleshoot issues to help our culinary team deliver consistent, high-standard meals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in food preparation, cooking, or food production.
• Advanced knowledge of standardized recipes, portion control, food safety, sanitation, and temperature requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to independently organize and execute multiple food production responsibilities.
• Food Handler Permit or certification as required by state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and execute a broad range of menu items according to recipes and schedules.
• Review menus and anticipated meal counts to determine quantities of food and supplies.
• Coordinate daily production priorities to meet service schedules.
• Anticipate production needs and communicate shortages or issues to culinary leadership.
• Monitor food quality, taste, texture, aroma, presentation, and temperature.
• Troubleshoot production and quality concerns and adjust within standards.
• Coordinate prep with meal periods to maintain freshness and service quality.
