Job summary

Spokane Produce, Inc. in Spokane, WA is hiring a Food Production Worker for our Commercial Kitchen. You will cut, slice and prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas, wraps and salads in a culinary style production kitchen.

Ideal candidates have kitchen experience, can read and understand English for USDA paperwork, and must obtain a food handler card before start. Shifts start at 7:00am, Monday through Friday; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience REQUIRED.
• Must have or obtain a food handlers card before start date.
• Must be able to stand for long periods in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice and prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas, wraps and salads.
• Produce soups, pastas, hummus, lasagna and stuffed mushrooms in a USDA kitchen.
• Label, package, clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
