Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Blender for a food production company in St. Peter, MN. In this role, you will batch and blend ingredients for large production runs, support product quality and food safety, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

The position is temporary, 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with weekly pay. Candidates should be able to lift up to 55 pounds, read and follow instructions in English, and work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, move, and dump up to 55 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and ability to weigh ingredients accurately.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written work instructions in English.
• Ability to work around dusty ingredients and loud industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
• Previous food manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Batch and blend food product ingredients according to production formulas.
• Accurately weigh raw ingredients using scales and document lot numbers.
• Lift and dump ingredient bags weighing up to 55 pounds into mixers and super sacs.
• Operate mixers, related production equipment, and a forklift.
• Stage and organize ingredients and clean containers, blending equipment, and work areas.
• Follow GMPs, food safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace safety procedures.
• Verify proper labels and batch records for traceability and report spills, deviations, or production issues.
