Job summary

Welch's is seeking a Food Scientist to accelerate innovation across our fruit-based foods and beverages. In this hands-on role, you will lead projects from concept through scale-up and commercialization, translating insights into market-ready products.

You’ll work across functions to balance consumer relevance, technical feasibility, and business viability, with hybrid in-office and remote days at our Waltham, MA headquarters. Travel up to 20% may be required.

• Experience managing multiple parallel product development projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive product innovation projects from concept through commercialization.
• Translate consumer insights and trends into prototypes and concepts.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Consumer Insights to guide development and learning plans.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams and partners on timelines and qualifications.
• Provide technical leadership for scale-up, launch activities, and cost optimization.
