Job summary
AGRANA Fruit in Brecksville, OH is seeking a New Product Developer to join the Product Development team. You will lead development and innovation for specific customer accounts, guiding projects from concept through commercialization while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
You will collaborate with pilot plant, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver precise product trials on time and to support successful product launches across markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level degree in food science or related field.
- 3–5 years of product development experience in the food industry.
- Experience leading projects from concept to commercialization.
- Knowledge of labeling regulations and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in sensory analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and innovation process for specific customer accounts, including research, formula development, trials and launches.
- Prioritize and manage all product development efforts to service customers and improve service levels.
- Guarantee NPD process compliance with quality and safety guardrails and regulations.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Pilot Plant teams to ensure timely availability of materials and samples.
- Support successful commercialization with Technical Service and Production teams.
