Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a sanitation associate to clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintain a clean workspace. You will follow MSDS procedures and operate high/low pressure wash systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–6 months of experience; you must be able to read chemical labels and follow safety protocols. This full-time on-site role offers weekly pay, benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-6 months of experience.
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintain cleanliness of workspace.
• Prep Processing room for washing.
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms
• Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures
