Job summary

Capital Seaboard seeks a sanitation-focused worker to clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintain the cleanliness of the workspace. You will prep rooms, power down machines, and break down equipment for cleaning.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–6 months of experience. The role emphasizes reading labels, following MSDS procedures, and maintaining safety throughout processing operations.

Responsibilities

• Position Summary: Clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintain cleanliness of workspace by performing the following duties.
• Prep Processing room for washing.
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms.
• Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F.
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification.
