Job summary

Butterball is seeking a production supervisor to lead day-to-day activities on a manufacturing line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will implement KPI plans through the Butterball Operating System Solutions (BOSS) and supervise entry-level staff while promoting continuous improvement.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience and 1+ year of leadership, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Travel within NC facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a production/supervisory role.
• 1+ year of leadership experience or ability to lead a team.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of a team of entry level contributors with guidance and coaching.
• Ensures team understands and follows safety policies and procedures; conducts on-the-floor coaching.
• Ensures adherence to USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Accounts for labor, tools, supplies, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Updates daily/weekly department reports (production, attendance, staffing, training).
• Participates in investigations and department/facility meetings.
