Ultipro in Iowa operates an egg production and processing facility seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and fabrication. You will diagnose malfunctions, disassemble machinery, and ensure hygiene standards after service to maintain production efficiency.

The role requires high school diploma, maintenance certification or equivalent, and ability to obtain First Aid/CPR. Prior food manufacturing maintenance experience is valued.

Formación

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Maintenance certification or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
• Previous experience in maintenance required; experience in food manufacturing desirable.
• Familiar with safety programs and processes (LOTO, Hazcom, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Disassemble machines to access and replace defective parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and inspect motors and belts.
• Carry out general maintenance including plumbing and electrical work.
• Document maintenance activities and update PM records.
• Identify required parts and notify supervisor.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure proper hygiene after repairs.
• Fabricate and weld as needed for plant repairs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with test devices.
