Job summary

Bake’n Joy Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical and electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep on food processing equipment and utilities at our North Andover facility.

You will troubleshoot a range of equipment, set up lines, and ensure compliance with safety and food manufacturing standards while working across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in a fast-paced, indoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Relevant experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and replace mechanical components (bearings, shafts, chains, v-belts).
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and components (3-phase motors, fuses, relays).
• Familiarity with PLCs for troubleshooting (programming not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and setup of production lines; adjust tooling as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair process equipment (mixers, depositors, conveyors, printers).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspect refrigeration equipment and utilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
