Job summary

Foster Farms in Kelso, WA is seeking a Machine Operator to support daily production in a wet, cool plant environment. You will set up and run machines, adjust settings for different runs, monitor output for defects, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs to maintain throughput.

Strong reliability and the ability to stand 8–12 hours, plus willingness to work flexible shifts, are required. Competitive pay with shift premiums and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a wet and cool environment.
• Must be physically capable to lift 50-80 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work various shifts and submit a resume.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines prior to shift start and adjust settings for production.
• Attend to machine operation and ensure smooth product flow.
• Monitor for mis-cuts and notify maintenance of issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist plant personnel as needed.
• Support quality and food safety to meet standards.
