Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a machine operator in Fresno, CA. This role starts by setting up and running machines at the beginning of the shift, performing scheduled changeovers and ensuring seals and forms are correct. You will adjust settings based on product type and labeling, handle mislabeled items, and manage film rolls up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude to make machine adjustments.
• Attention to detail in product inspection and return of issues to the line.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Repetitive grasping, wrist and hand rotation; physically capable of lifting 35-40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and begin running machines at the start of shift; perform changeovers as scheduled.
• Ensure machine forms and seals are correct.
• Adjust machine as needed based on product type and sealing issues.
• Open sealed products not properly sealed or mislabeled; return defective product to line.
• Re-feed or change forming and sealing film rolls (up to 80 lbs) on the machine.
