Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented line crew member for packing, weighing and grading on a moving conveyor. You will rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader roles to maintain line speeds and product standards. The job requires lifting, standing in a cold environment and adherence to LEAN processes.

Ideal candidates will communicate clearly with the production team and leadership, uphold quality and safety policies, and support continuous improvement in daily line operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on a moving conveyor belt and perform packing tasks.
• Must communicate effectively with team and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands. Spreads or styles product by hand on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team and supports team cohesiveness, attends meetings and communicates effectively.
• Familiar with Simmons' operating systems and adheres to quality, security, LEAN practices and company policies.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
