Sam's Club in Avondale, AZ is seeking team members to stay informed about product specifications and support prepared food merchandise activities through cross‑functional collaboration.

You will operate and sanitize equipment, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specs, educate associates on tools and resources, and leverage digital tools to drive sales while ensuring food safety and inventory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed about product specifications and educate associates on tools, tasks and resources.
• Prepare food to item specifications, plan future productions, account for seasonality, and adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold chain and inventory management standards.
• Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment while demonstrating product and layout execution proficiency.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enable immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training and product quality.
• Drive area performance by stocking, rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, reducing waste, and providing member service that acknowledges and addresses member needs.
• Act as a brand advocate by developing, influencing and inspiring others, fostering a respectful, supportive and team-oriented culture, and assisting in training roadblocks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics, and apply the Open Door Policy while executing business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers and business partners, prioritizing deadlines, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities.
