Job summary

Sam's Club in Erie, PA is seeking a food service team member who will maintain up-to-date product specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide excellent member service in a fast-paced environment.

You will prepare foods to item specs, plan for seasonality, monitor cold chain and sanitation, operate and sanitize equipment, and use handheld tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience while supporting fellow associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired.
• Food Safety Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Food Service experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain knowledge of product specifications and assist cross-functional teams.
• Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications and plan for seasonality and mass productions; maintain safety and inventory; understand layout execution.
• Be a Techie: use handheld technology to drive sales and improve customer experience.
• Be an Owner: stock, rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date-control, assist members and resolve issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: act as a brand advocate and support training colleagues.
