Job summary

PureField Ingredients LLC in Russell, KS is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Operator to support packaging, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.

You will safely handle finished products, load trucks and railcars, operate packaging equipment, and maintain food safety and quality standards while complying with SQF/FSMA programs. Shift patterns include rotating daytime hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, shipping, or receiving preferred.
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and bulk bag filling systems.
• Set up packaging lines, load bag magazines, and verify lot coding information.
• Inspect and document magnets and other food safety control points.
• Inspect and clean pallets, packaging materials, and ingredient containers.
• Load and inspect van trucks, bulk trucks, and railcars according to established procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Move and store finished products in designated warehouse locations.
• Complete forklift inspections and required operational documentation.
• Follow procedures for damaged product, product reclaim, and material handling.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through housekeeping and sanitation activities.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, contractors, and plant personnel.
• Follow all company safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work procedures.
• Comply with all SQF, FSMA, food safety, and quality requirements.
• Attend required safety and food safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
